Monday Mission
1. I read an article that said the reason many people like hot and spicy
food is because that pain actually causes them pleasure. Do personally find a
connection between pleasure and pain? no
2. On the local NPR station their was a news item that about a recent
study which said men who do housework get more sex. What do you think about
that? Why would that be the case? I don't know if it's. Why wouldn't it be the
casE?
3. A friend and I were talking about the stigma attatched to divorce.
He said that men can usually be divorced and not have much social backlash, but
that women are often looked at as having failed in some way. The church
especially, he said, tended to look down upon divorced women as if it were
totally their fault and not the man's. Do you think there is a
double-standard when it comes to men and women and the stigma of divorce? yes
4. On that same topic, I just read an article (look on Google News) that
said parents with daughters are more likely to divorce than parents with sons.
Do you think there is any validity to this? not sure
5. Do you think the way a Father raises his daughter has an impact on the
type of men she will eventually have relationships with? definitely yes
6. Have you ever found your body craving some sort of food? Meat,
chocolate, fruit and even water, the body tends to know what it needs. Do you
get food cravings? Which are the most powerful? yes salt, fat, and sugar
7. Do you have any type of skills you can "fall back on" if you needed to
change careers suddenly? my computer skills

Saturday 8
1. Do you believe animated movies can be just as enjoyable as non-animated
ones? Does it depend what kind? Finding Nemo, Shrek vs. Bambi, Lion King. yes
2. Do you have friends or know people that won't see animated movies? no
3. There are some great books out there too, like Harry Potter. Have you read
any of the Harry Potter series, or perhaps another series that may be called a
children's series? yes
4. I know some people that enjoy reading children's books and others that just
scoff at it. "Bloody Hell won't be catchin' me reading such things", they say.
If you do read them, do you discuss them with your friends, or keep it to
yourself? If you don't read them, did you used to and if so, why did you stop?

5. What about toys? Sure there are board games like checkers and Monopoly, but
what about things strictly marketed towards children, like Legos, paint by
number, finger paint, comicbooks, etc. Do you still like any toys from when you
were younger? Have you acquired new kinds of toys? If you don't have anything
considered to be a toy, did you ever and when did it all change? yes yes
6. With the way times change, maybe you feel out of touch. Do today's toys look
interesting to you and how do you compare them to toys you had when you were
younger? Better, worse, hmm... ? some of them. they are better sort of
7. Nemo's dad was pretty protective of his son, but maybe he was right to do so.
It's hard to let go. Maybe you have children, maybe not, but do you find
yourself protective of something or someone? Do you ever feel overprotective?

8. Lastly, time goes on and things change. I have found that most adults no
longer participate in the things they used to do as a child. They don't really
"play" anymore. Is there anything you've held on to through the years, be it
books, or watching cartoons, or even still playing games like Dungeons and
Dragons? If so what and why? If not, is there anything you wish you could do
again or at least look back on with fond memories? a lot

I saw Agent Cody Banks on DVD
I don't like i-tunes as much as I thought I
would but I burned a cd with 6 songs on it this week. This weekend I have a
doctors visit and then errands and laundry etc. Plus I want to see the new loony
toons movie. I will see my parents on Sunday.
