Monday Mission

1. When you take a vacation, do you ever suffer from Internet
withdrawal? Or maybe the nagging urge to blog or read blogs? Or are you glad to
be away? Yes!

2. Have you ever been "furloughed" (told to take time off work without pay)
or laid off? How did that impact your family dynamics? Your finances? If not to
you, have you seen it happen to anyone you know? How did they handle it? Family
and friends no co-workers husbands yes but it worked out. they got another job

3. If you fell on hard times, what is are some non-essential reoccurring
luxury expenses (cable TV, TiVo subscription, cigarettes, high-speed net
connection, newspaper, daily Starbucks coffee, etc.) you would give up to save
money?  cable, aol, cell phone, newspaper.

4. On the same thought, what is the one non-essential expense you would NOT
give up? cds and dvds

5. Would you ever ask your family (parents, in-laws, relatives) for financial
assistance? What would be some of your concerns about asking for help? Have you
ever asked for it before? Did it go well? I would and I haven't.

6. Has a friend or relative ever borrowed money from you? Who were they and
how much did they want? Did you ever get paid back, or did it matter? Did you
feel compelled to keep an eye on them to see if they spent it wisely? no

7. Imagine you won a tax-free gift of $7,000. The only stipulation on the
gift is that it must not be invested or saved, and must be spent before 2004.
How would you use the money? put it towards a new car.

1. What's a situation in your life that you felt totally unsure in, or
lacking in confidence in? my first day on any new job

Wednesday What-Ifs

1. What if you were offered the opportunity to have an
operation that would increase your intelligence, but noticeably decrease your
level of happiness? I wouldn't do it

2. What if you had to choose between an operation that would
leave you without hands, or an operation that would leave you with no feet?
without feet. I use my hands more

3. What if you had to decide whether to risk your life and
give a kidney to a dying relative whom you've never met, but whose kidneys match
yours exactly? I would do it

4. What if you could have an operation that would allow you
to morph into any animal at will, but would steal your ability of human speech?
I might do it.

5. What if you could have an operation to change one thing
about yourself -- what would it be?  improve my eyesight ( my eyes are so
bad that surgery can't help.

1. If you were running for governor of your state, what personal information
would you refuse to discuss with journalists? nothing except maybe if I were
married some parts of my marriage

2. How do your business ethics and personal ethics differ, if at all? Do you
think you have a better reputation in your business dealings or your personal
ones? they don't. I have a ok reputation in both

3. Everyone hears discussions they consider boring. What topic puts you to
sleep faster than any other? a lot

Twosome: Day- Which day of the week do you live for? Is it getting back to work
on Monday (right!) or maybe Friday, so you're gone! One of the weekend days?

Threesome: Sale- Are you one of those people who will wait until something is on
sale before you buy it? ...even if it's like forever? ...or do you just haul on
down to the store whenever the urge hits? Hmmm? Planner, immediate or impulse?
What type of buyer are you? I like sales but if I really want something I won't
wait for a sale. I like it when something I want is on sale!

1 .You want a job that requires experience you don't have. Do you lie on you
resume? no but I would show them that I was very willing to learn new things

2. It's late and your 18-year-old asks permission for his/her steady to spend
the night in his/her room. Do you permit it? no but they can stay on a couch

3. You've been looking for a disc player. On the street someone offers to sell
you a new one for $10. Do you buy it? hell mo!

If you were in this situation, would you donate any of this money to Charity?
If so, which Charity and Why? If not, then Why yes, homeless shelters, food

4. What would prompt you to take a break? Real life or online life? What's
the difference? if my life got too busy

see him/her blog again? Why? I was very glad to see them blog again.

What's On your 'to do list' Right Now? there were alot of things but
now only change my template a little and a couple of things outside.

This-or-That Tuesday

 

I worked on Friday and did things around the house Friday night. I saw
friends today and will do a few things on the computer tonight and watch trading
spaces from U of A (yea!) Tomorrow I will spend with my parents.

Bob Hope died last week and Steve is retiring. Bummer!
