Yea! Friday five is back!

1. What holiday or holidays do you celebrate this time of year?Christmas and New Years

2. What was the best gift you have ever received?  Monkees greatest hits
album

3. What was the worst gift you've ever given? I've given lots unfortunately but none come to mind

4. Where will you be celebrating the holidays? Are you hosting? Going away? Going to my aunt & Uncle's house with my parents, grandparents and brother for Christmas. New years I'll spend with my parents.

5. If you could spend the holidays with someone who isn't around, who would it be with? Why? My mom's parents. They are who I spent Christmas with as a kid.

This or that tuesday

1. Christmas dinner: turkey or ham (or something else)? Turkey if it's at my
parents house but if it's at my aunts house then whatever she cooks.

2. Candy canes or chocolate? Both

3. Fruit basket or fruitcake? Fruit basket

4. Mulled cider or mulled wine? cider

5. Eggnog or hot chocolate? hot chocolate

6. Holiday cookies: homemade or store-bought? Both

7. Roasting chestnuts or popping corn? Popping corn

8. On the buffet table: veggie platter or cheese tray? veggies

9. Apple or pumpkin pie? both

10. Christmas Day breakfast: before or after gift-opening? Now we open presents
on Christmas eve. But when I was a kid we used to do it after breakfast. I was
the first up and had to wait for everyone. Grandpa was always the last to
finish.

I finished all my cookie baking and baked a desert for work. I also finished decorating with the help of my parents. I was also able to go out with a friend of mine on friday. Tomorrow I have lots of errands to run etc. I also have a little bit of wrapping to do and cookies to divy up. I work this weekend too.
